We know there are many people out there who want to be involved with our organization and join us in our work. Some ways to take part are listed below. If you have special skills or think you could be of additional help in another way, please let us know by sending an e-mail to director@mayatanfoundation.org.
Many visitors to Copán Ruinas and others who have sponsored students' educations, or supported the Mayatan Assistance Program. Some have commented that they would like to do some local fundraising for Mayatan within their own communities, workplaces, religious groups and families. We welcome and encourage such participation and consider this network of remote supporters to be some of our most important assets in fundraising. In addition to investing funds and sending needed supplies to Mayatan, many people interested in helping the organization have also chose to make the trip down to Honduras and volunteer their time and experience firsthand.
