Mission Statement

Mayatan Bilingual School is dedicated to providing a diverse population of students with the best bilingual education possible that will allow our students to become active, responsible, informed participants in their local, national and global community.

Vision Statement

The Mayatan vision is to add a Colegio (10th- 12th grade) to our existing school. To do this we will look for sources of money to build and equip a Library/Computer Lab and a Science Lab, so that we may qualify for the requirements of the Honduran Education Ministry accreditation process to become a Pre K through Twelfth Grade Bilingual School. This will allow our students to stay in their community to receive education beyond the Ninth Grade. Additionally we will keep improving our present sponsorship program with the ultimate goal of maintaining two diversely populated sections per grade in our present Pre K through Ninth Grade program.
