Thanksgiving 2017 at Mayatan!

On the third Wednesday of every November, Mayatan takes half a day out of our regular schedule to give thanks to everything we are grateful for while sharing a meal with our classmates and co-workers. Although Thanksgiving is not a traditional Honduran holiday, here at Mayatan we like to celebrate by sharing the important virtues of this special day with our student body. Before starting the day's festivities, we demonstrate the importance of gratitude and appreciation and the value of spending time with those we love.

We would like to give our whole hearted thanks to our (past and present) students, teachers, faculty, staff, coaches, administrators, founders, sponsors, & donors and all of the families that have been a part of Mayatan. We would also like to thank the community of Copan to which we call home. We are truly grateful for all of your support and are thankful to have you all as part of the Mayatan family. Happy Turkey Day!
